The OHS Administrator is required to be organized, flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The role maintains health and safety records in the data management system and prepares statistical reports on a regular basis. The OHS Administrator is expected to assist with comprehensive communication and efficient flow of all paperwork between the construction sites and head office.



Your contributions to the team:
  • Providing administrative support to the OH&S Director.
  • Viewpoint Data entry.
  • Review daily security reports. 
  • Preparing safety statistical reports for sites.
  • Maintaining files and ensuring clarity and organization.
  • Taking minutes at monthly safety meetings.
  • Maintenance of safety manuals, ERP plans.
  • Create, design and implement forms as needed.
  •   Create, design and implement Safe work practices and procedures.
  • Maintenance of department calendar.
  • Review weekly site photos.
  • Assist with various special projects as required.
  • Organizing provincial COR program documentation. 
What you need to be successful: 
  • Understanding of current Occupational Health and Safety legislation, regulations, codes of practice and other safe work practice requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to balance multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience using a large database system would be an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years’ administrative experience.
